The following Coaching program is offered during the 2019/20 season. All sessions are conducted at Olds Park and are only available to athletes in the indicated age groups who have registered with St George Little Athletics Centre for the 2019/20 season. There is no cost, except where indicated.
All participants are expected to adhere to the Little Athletics Code of Conduct.

Pre-Season Orientation
Our Orientation Day Coaching is designed specifically (and only) for athletes new to the specified Events and needing to learn the necessary skills & technique to perform events “legally”. The Events and times allocated for individual age groups are set out in the following tables:

Note: While the above sessions are operating, we will also be delivering an Officiating Workshop for parents to assist them in officiating events during our Friday evening competitions. Uniform & Registration Pack pickup will also be available at these times.
In-Season Coaching
Wednesday is our ‘in-season’ coaching day and each Wednesday will focus on specific events, supported by specialist coaches. Participants must be registered members of St George Little Athletics.
Note: A parent of each child must remain at the park during Wednesday training.

Holiday Coaching Clinics
Our popular Training clinics are returning for another season! The clinics will address technique & skills across Throwing, Jumping and Running events, and utilise specialist coaches under the direction of Coaching Coordinator Samantha Latanis. Lunch is provided. Participation is restricted to registered members and numbers are strictly limited to ensure quality and effectiveness.
