Coaching Schedule (In Season)

In-Season Coaching for the 2020/21 season is available at no cost to registered members of St George Little Athletics (only) in the u6 and above age groups.  This is a valuable opportunity to improve skills and performance.  Meet at the clubhouse at Olds Park on the days indicated.

Athletes should wear appropriate outdoor clothing (no need to wear the uniform), shoes and should bring a water bottle.

Coaching is on Tuesdays (dates as below) and comprises 2  sessions:

5 – 5:50pm:  Sprints, Middle Distance with a focus on technique and/or general fitness.

6 – 6:50pm:  Cycle through field events as per the table below.

Important Notes:

  1. Places at each training session are limited and must be booked in advance via SignUp
  2. Parents must “sign-in” and “sign-out” as they arrive and leave with their children
  3. Please arrive on-time – either by 5pm or by 6pm.   Late arrivals are disruptive to the session and miss the important warm-up period (important to reduce risk of injury) and for these reasons will not be able to join that session.
  4. A parent/guardian is required to remain at the ground during the session in sight of the coach.
