28 September 2020 and 5 October 2020. These all-day (9am to 3pm) clinics aim to provide basic skills training to those in the u6 to ~u12 age groups who are relatively new to athletics. For details: Coaching Clinics

Monday 5 October (public holiday)

Wednesday 7 October

7 – 8pm: Surnames N – Z
When you attend, bring with you:
(i) Online Invoice/payment receipt(s);
(ii) Your filled in Working with Children Declaration (downloaded during on-line registration, or available here: WWC Declaration ) and
(iii) For newly registering children – a document to prove the child’s age eg. a birth certificate, current Passport or hospital blue book. A clear photograph of the identity document on your phone will suffice.

PARENT OFFICIATING WORKSHOPS
At club level, “officiating” is in large part the responsibility of parent helpers. To hear what’s involved, it’s important you attend one of the following (free) “Parent Officiating Workshops”. These will be practical sessions demonstrating the various Athletics Events and explaining the key requirements for officiating at these events. Note: You’ll find further helpful information on our Parent Helpers page.

These free coaching sessions are designed especially for athletes just learning the field events and needing to learn correct technique to avoid fouls. See our Coaching Overview for details on specific sessions, age groups and Events.
UNIFORM & REGISTRATION PACK PICKUP

Please collect your Uniform & Registration number / Uniform patches during these collection windows. The number and patches need to be fitted to the uniform (as described in the Handbook) before Friday Night competition.

STATE RELAY CHAMPIONSHIPS
….will be held at SOPAC (Homebush) over the weekend 16-17 November. For information about the relays, see: State Relays. Entry is open to athletes in the U8 – U17 age groups and “relays” cover both track and field events. If you’re interested in participating, drop an Email to Championships Officer Leanne Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate Athlete’s name, Age Group and what Event(s) you’d be interested in. Teams need to be organised in advance and registered by the club.
….will be held at the Sylvania Waters Athletics Track over the period 13 – 15 December 2019 for Athletes in the u7 – u17 age groups. If you’ve nominated for the carnival, you can see the events in which you’re entered by logging on to ResultsHQ and clicking “Calendar”. All athletes who have entered are listed in Zone Entries (STGLAC) 2019 rev1 and the Program/Timetable is available in Zone Program with Times 2019. The full program (including Lane assignments etc) is 2019 Full Zone Program.

A Parent of each athlete nominating will be expected to perform a duty (typically 1-2 hours) at the Carnival – and for this reason, parents are required to wear enclosed shoes – not sandals or thongs. …will be held at the Ridge Athletics Track (Barden Ridge) over the weekend of 1 – 2 February, 2020. The List of St George athletes who have qualified to the Region Championships can be found in St George Qualifiers to Region 2020. If you’re on this list, then you are automatically entered in the indicated events. The following is the short form program for the Carnival: Region 8 Program 2020. And this is the Full Program which includes lane assignments etc.
STATE COMBINED EVENTS CARNIVAL
…will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 29 February and 1 March 2020 in Tamworth. This is a fun “multi-event” carnival for all athletes in the u7 to u17 age groups. Entries are $25 per athlete closing 12 February (with a late entry up to a week later at $50). A number of St George families have already registered. STATE TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
…will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 14 & 15 March at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre. Our St George State Team comprises the 19 Athletes listed in 2020 St George State Qualifiers. For more information, see: State Track & Field Championships
