Role of Registrar

Registrar

The primary role of the Registrar is to “on-board” athletes at the commencement of the season.   Specific duties include:

  1. Configure the registration system (as made available by LANSW – ‘RevSport’ from 2024/25) as required consistent with the Centre’s approved policies and fees.
  2. Maintain the Centre’s records of members / athletes in the registration system.
  3. Order registration numbers and other items from LANSW and account to LANSW at end of season for their allocation as required.
  4. Process athlete registrations to ‘on-board’ athletes including verifying athlete age and ensuring data quality.
  5. Ensure registration pre-requisites, including PDC and WWCD forms, are met for each family registering athletes
  6. Distribute Centre registration numbers, age patches, other patches and materials as required to each registered athlete (subject to all pre-requisites having been met).
  7. Monitor that all persons required to provide a Working with Children Check Number do so;
  8. Manage procedures associated with athlete Trialists and Visitors including the keeping of records and collection & handling of Trialist fees (as agreed with Treasurer).
  9. Prepare a report to the Annual General Meeting of The Centre.
