Uniform Requirements
All St George athletes require a club uniform. For u6 and above age groups, the uniform comprises 2 pieces:
For Boys: Singlet (red & white stripes) plus red Shorts
For Girls: Either a Singlet or Crop Top plus either red Shorts or red (compression) Bike Pants or red Scungies.
For Tiny Tots: Only a single uniform item (Singlet or Crop Top) is required – any shorts can be worn.
Uniform Transition
In 2021/22, we are commencing a transition in the makeup of the uniform, starting with the introduction of a new design for the red shorts. The new design will only be offered in sizes 4 – 10 this year but will ultimately span the full size range. Athletes may continue to wear the current style shorts and that style will continue to be sold in sizes 12 and above while we have ample stock.
Scungies continue to be an option for the girls uniform, and while no further stock will be acquired, athletes are welcome to continue to purchase these items until our stock is exhausted. We currently have stock in size 6, 14, XS, S and above.
Purchasing a Uniform
Uniforms can be purchased from us at Olds Park on one of our advertised pick-up days or just prior to commencement of our Friday evening competitions (eg. 5 to 5:55pm). This Sizing Chart may assist you in selecting the appropriate size.
NB: Sales at Olds Park are cashless. We accept Visa/Mastercard/Amex/eftpos/Google Pay and Apple Pay transactions only.
Attaching Bib Numbers & Patches
Registration numbers must be attached to the centre front of tops. The Age Patch is to be attached to the left front side of the uniform (preferably on the shorts) such that it is always visible. The Coles sponsor patch is placed on the top right hand side of tops. (Left & Right with respect to the wearer.)
The following photo(s) show correct presentation of the uniform including placement of the various patches. [Note: Actual design of patches / bib number may not be identical to that shown in the photo(s).]

All registration numbers must show the coloured border – for 2020/21, the border is Gold. No modifications can be made. [Where a distinct U12 to U17 dual registration bib is issued (not applicable in 2020/21) this may be folded behind (if the bib is too big for the uniform top) – however the registration number and the bottom section of the bib must be visible.]
Note that the Bib and Patches must be sewn (preferred) or neatly pinned (with safety pins) to the uniform. They are not “iron-on”.
