Week 16 – Friday 7 February
UPDATE: Due to the (much needed) rain, Athletics is cancelled for this evening 7 February.
Congratulations to the many St George athletes who competed in the Regional Championships this past weekend under very trying conditions with hot weather during much of the carnival and rain at the very end! Hats off to the carnival organisers who simultaneously took care of athlete well-being and managed to get the carnival completed on Sunday, even if the lights did need to be turned on!
This Friday should be our Week B (Hurdles) program. Fingers crossed the forecast rain at the end of this week falls sometime other than on Friday!
Wednesday coaching this week will be Shot Put (u6 – u10) and Long/Triple Jump (u11 – u17).
