Championships Officer

The primary role of the Championships Officer is to is to plan and organise the participation of Centre athletes in LANSW & other representative Championship events.  Specific duties include:

  1. Promote participation in LANSW Carnivals.
  2. Ensure effective communication of information about carnivals to parents.
  3. Organise officials for events conducted by LANSW and other Centres, in which the Centre participates.
  4. Ensure that all athletes are correctly nominated in their events and that the nominations are lodged by the closing date.
  5. Complete and submit any entry forms for athletes to participate in LANSW or other Centres’ events.
  6. Manage the Team of Athletes attending Championships.
  7. Submit a report to the Annual General Meeting of the Centre.
