2. When can I
register?
You can register online from the 1st of August then pick-up your registration pack in person on 13 September between 6:15 and 7pm at the Olds Park clubhouse. Subsequent registration pack pickup opportunities are also available (see the next FAQ below).

3. Are late registrations taken?
All registrations must be conducted and paid on-line (a LANSW requirement). We will keep registrations open beyond the September start of season and Registration Packs can be collected from the clubhouse at Olds Park on competition nights (but not our first night, 14th September!) between 5:30 and 6:00pm.
4. How much will
it cost to register my children?

1ST Child - $135
2ND Child - $130
3RD Child - $125
Registration Charge for the 4th or subsequent child is $100.Remember, you may be able to significantly reduce these fees by using an Active Kids voucher.
Note: Registration Fees are collected by Little Athletics NSW and in most cases are Non-Refundable. Participation in our pre-season trials may be wise if your child is uncertain about athletics.
5. How much will
it cost for a club uniform?

Adult size prices vary slightly: $35 for singlets and $25 for bike pants.
Uniforms will be available for purchase between 6:15 and 7pm on 13 September, and from 5:00 - 5:45pm on competition nights from the clubhouse at Olds Park. Get in early to ensure your size is in stock. It would be appreciated if you pay with the exact Cash amount.
6. When does the
season start and end?
Our season runs from September through till March. Please see our Calendar page for specific dates.
7. When does St George Little Athletics meet to compete?
Competition is conducted on Friday nights as set out in our Calendar page. Please arrive by 5:45pm to sign-in, join your age group, and be ready for the first event at 6:00pm.
8. Does the club
compete during school
holidays?
We do take a break around Christmas time, and on those Fridays that clash with Carnival events, but otherwise we do compete during school holidays. See our Calendar page.
9. Do parents
need to attend each Friday
night?
Parent/guardian must be in attendance at all times.
10. Do parents
need to participate?
Yes Please! Parent/guardian participation is required in the running of all events each Friday night and we offer pre-season "training sessions" to explain the rules and procedures of each event. It's easy once you've been shown!
11. What events
are conducted?
Events depend on the athlete's age but our program includes sprints, hurdles, distance races, jumps and throws over a 2 week cycle.
12.How important
is winning
The focus is not on winning. We encourage athletes to participate, to do their best and to pursue personal improvement.
13. Are athlete’s results available?
Individual results are available via our online results portal. See Results page for the link.
14. How is
competition conducted?
Children move through a sequence of events each night, guided by their Age Manager. Each event is facilitated with the assistance of parents.
